It was a very busy year for us at Ryland Communications Limited and the last month or two of 2023 were no exception. Here we round up of some of the things we were getting up to behind the scenes:
We were very proud to achieve 3CX Gold Partner status at the end of November following the installation of our 32nd system. 3CX is one of several VoIP options we offer, and a perfect choice for large and smaller businesses alike, packed full of excellent features and functionality. We look forward to continuing to grow with 3CX in 2024!
Mid-December saw the arrival of the most highly anticipated night of the Ryland staff calendar! Our Christmas party. We gathered, along with some of our partners, at the charming Nutfield Priory in Redhill. We got dressed up and then enjoyed a delicious meal, drinks and games in a private room before our overnight stay. The venue was beautiful and it was a lovely opportunity to all be together in one place. Something that doesn’t happen often enough given our mix of office and remote working staff at the company.
As always we were ready and waiting in the days leading up to Christmas and New Year to carry out the diverts and changes to answer messages needed by our customers. Some had full office closures that needed all numbers to route to the same message announcing their reopening date in January, with or without the ability to leave a voicemail. Others were open in between Christmas and New Year and had time and date-specific instructions that covered diverts, voicemails and automated messages. It was quick and easy for our customers to email these instructions to us along with their scripts for the answer messages and we ensured these were all in place as required. For those on our 3CX systems the ability to pre-programme detailed call plans made especially sure that all calls were routed exactly where they needed to be at any given time.
We were very proud to again be involved in sponsoring the Our Community Spirit Christmas Lunch organised by 21st Century Flooring. 2023 was their 10th Christmas lunch and together with their army of volunteers they were able to prepare almost 300 Christmas meals for individuals and families struggling in and around Rochester, Kent. Then many of these meals were enjoyed at their Christmas Day lunch held at The Vines United Reform Church in Rochester and others were collected or delivered by even more volunteers on the day.
